Entry #6. What does my perfect day looks like?

     Jumping back to reality from my dreams, I hear my alarm go off as the birds chirp, and the sunlight peeks through my slightly opened blinds. I open my eyes and turn off the loud sound ringing throughout my room, before scrolling through my phone; I find it best to go to the bathroom and take a cold shower to wake me up. As I walk out of the bathroom, feeling refreshed with my teeth brushed, clean hair & body, and washed face. I finish getting ready by putting on a comfortable but stylish outfit, putting my hair up in braids, and doing light makeup. It is now 8:00 A.M., and I am walking alongside my sister toward the car, excited for the productive day ahead.

    Our first stop is a small bagel shop, where we pick out our favorite bagels paired with a coffee. As I take my first bite of my sweet chocolate chip bagel, I am filled with joy to be with my favorite person eating a delicious breakfast. As we head back to the car, we create a game plan for the rest of the day. We decided to go to a photo booth since we love taking pictures, and it can be a great memory to keep. Once we enter the booth, we continue laughing and smiling, trying to fit as many poses as possible within the time limit. Once we look at our results, we point and laugh at how funny we look. After, we enter a couple of stores, giving into our shopping addictions, we walk through the shopping center and spot a small bakery that looks amazing. We each grab some sort of baked good
and continue looking at the different shops the shopping center has to offer.

    Once we finish shopping, we drive to our favorite Korean BBQ restaurant while blasting our favorite songs. As the sun sets, a cool breeze blows through our hair, and as I look out onto the sidewalk, I catch a glimpse of strangers walking down the street. One of my favorite things to do is people-watch. I love looking into a crowd and seeing ten different emotions on multiple people's faces. Someone in that crowd could be having the best day, while another can be having the worst day. We finally arrive at the restaurant and order so much meat we walk out feeling more than full, but we can't go home without getting a sweet treat. We then go to our favorite boba shop and order our drinks. 

    We arrive home, and we wind down by playing our favorite movie, "The Sun is Also a Star." After multiple tears have been shed from all of the emotions I felt, I make my way upstairs, change into my pajamas, take my makeup off, and put a face mask on. As I wait for the serum to seep into my skin, I watch several YouTube videos to make the time go by a little faster. As I feel myself getting sleepy,  I take the face mask off, climb into my bed, stare up at my ceiling as I dose off into deep sleep, and get ready to have another fantastic day tomorrow.
